Dindi celebration and procession carried out in every nook and corner of Shirur with zeal and jest.The celebration started with worshipping idol of Vitthal and Rakhumai and lightening of traditional lamp in the solicit and prominent presence of MLA Mr.Ashok Bapu Pawar ,well known businessman Mr. Prakash Seth Dhariwal ,Chairman of Balaji English Medium School Mr. Sadashiv Anna Pawar ,Principal Mr.Ganesh Mitpalliwar. Girls carried Tulsi plants and Boys carried placards and saffron flags along with Palakhi enchanting the name of Lord Vitthal in the traditional attire of warkaris .The students performed thrilling dances ,skit and hymns .The celebration brought in a feeling of devotion and spirituality among the students.
